Irish Blog Awards growing and growing…

Damien’s got a room in Buswells booked, arranged sponsorship for each category of the Irish Blog Awards, and even got local wifi provider to let bloggers rip that night on wifi from the hotel. Nominations announced, and voting starting on Monday. So get your voting head on! We expect Northern Irish bloggers will be well represented amongst the finalists.

  • “Northern Irish bloggers”

    Who? 😉

  • Mick Fealty

Yerself Chris and one or two others. ATW has more than a few backers too!

  • I was just wondering about the “Northern Irish” bit 😉

  • Voting starts Monday week now as there’s a new category for Best Technology Blog and I’m letting nominations run for a week, then the public vote starts.

Northern Irish blogs have so far been very well represented I must say. You have very sincere and supportive readers. I was going to use the word loyal…

  • Why the heck is ATW there also?? It’s not an Irish blog, don’t see how it would deserve any award anyway.

  • Mick Fealty

That’s up to the voting public!

  • Shouldn’t it be up to the blog owner Mick?

  • Mick Fealty

Well ruling it in or out you’d require a clear criteria. I’m not sure how you would rule it out. After that it would be up to the number of nominations. Whaterver you think of it, ATW has plenty of fans.

  • Well it should be ruled it out because, very simply, it’s not an Irish blog. David made that very clear before.

I myself would rule it out for other reasons, which I won’t explain because i’d like to avoid a red card 😉
