Slugger has broken the 100 votes mark…

But the odds are stacked against us winning any honours this time out. Daily Ablution has more than three times our vote total already. But if you fancy pushing us up the ratings towards respectable mediocrity, then feel free to vote Slugger, day and daily!

Where did you get the results so far from? Tried and tried.

After you vote, the tally will be visible.. so clearly you haven’t actually voted yet.. hmm..

It’s telling me that I have already voted and to wait for another 24 hours. I believe I have to wait then till tomorrow. I’m very new at this sort of things. But thanks for the hint.

Plenty of opportunity to practice until the 15th.. once every 24 hours.. but there are many other categories of blogs you can vote for 🙂

I’m kind of stuck with this one, you know, my first and so on.
I hope you will do well. And with some days to go, I might even get the hang of it.

Slugger’s position in the poll is probably an accurate reflection of its impact and importance in the larger UK blog scene. Slugger remains a somewhat parochial and introverted blog, and, as most of the major national (UK) and international news passes by with little or no comment, probably has few regular mainland or international readers.

This is not a criticism of Slugger. It only an observation that maybe we in Northern Ireland are not as important to the rest of the world as we think we are.

Why are so many of the other nominated blogs those of right-wing weirdos? Is this a bias on the part of the nominators, or is it representative of the state of the (forgive me) blogosphere?
