the snow is general..

..all over Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.. be careful out there.

So that would be the British Isles then?

    Or the UK and Eire?

  • Exile

It’s not true anyway. Not a flake to be seen where I am, so the whole of the North Western European Archipeligo isn’t covered and I imagine the mainland isn’t either, but I’ve not been to France for a while now:)

  • No snow here in N. Wicklow.

Okay, errr, strike that. Just looked at the window and there are a few flakes. Still, that doesn’t really count as snow.

  • mwk

Nope, not a flake anywhere. Though it has been reported out at Bury St Edmunds, so I have had to put the roof up on my car.

As long as it keeps away until I get home tonight, then disappears for Monday 9am, all will be well.

Snow in North Mayo, Not load mind but some. You would not be making a snowman.

  • SeamusG

I feel cheated. I had promised my children that we would make a snowman. How can I ever look them in the eyes again?

Nothing in Dorset, yet. Sun is shinging, blue sky, and it just feels too cold for snow just now.

  • and there is none yet in the madding crowd of London slugger

  • Pete Baker

Well, we had a reasonably heavy fall here overnight.. the rest is poetic licence :p

  • The Deezer

Did anyone get the thunder & lightning & hail storm of biblical preportions ?

  • ganching

I thought it was a reference to “The Dead”. Didn’t realise it was poetry you were talking about.

  • What I want to know is this snow catholic or protestant snow, is it unionist or nationalist and is it pro or anti GFA before I say if I (can) like it or not.

Also I would like to know when the snow knew it was going to fall and if this was before the rest of us (and especially the SDLP) knew.

Nollaig Shona Duit agus Merry Christmas gach duine 🙂

  • Franky

Its a bit early for sh*tmas yet !

  • Yeah I sort of knew that but could not think of a better way to end my post, and with the whole country (be it 6 or 26 or 32 counties!) bracing itself for Armageddon, I thought we might not be around till then.

  • Betty Boo

The gales we are having in Inishowen are more anti anything. You get literally blown off the road.
Franky, don’t be so harsh on Raff. It’s the first advent on Sunday.

Ladies and gentlemen, Devon is closed.
