Friday was a big day for Slugger. Our normal daily readership has climbed to an average of just under 4,000. But Newton Emerson’s IT piece set a large section of the blogosphere alight with enthusiastic approval. So much so that we broke our previous daily record readership for our election results coverage (9,000), and pushed into respectable small newspaper figure of 23,000. It has settled back now to about 5/6000. But it amply demonstrates the extraordinary power of the blogosphere! Thanks to all you bloggers, who spread the word.
