Alan Castle the Alliance party’s candidate in Upper Bann told the BBC that Trimble is trouble. His own vote is very tightly squeezed. DUP Lurgan councillor Stephen Moutray says he’s quietly confident that the DUP will take the seat from Trimble without a need for a recount even. But the SF vote is holding up to 75% – which augurs badly for the extent of tactical voting in favour of DT.
