The next generation

As well as the main Manifesto launch the Ulster Unionist Party also launched its mini manifesto on children yesterday.

Every child deserves the best possible start in live. The most important influence in a child’s life is his or her parents and Ulster Unionists want to develop policies that support, not replace parents. Parents should be offered a choice of quality, flexible services for their children from the beginning.

  • beano @ Everything Ulster

    start in live

and you fixed ones that said ‘nor’ instead of ‘not’ and ‘polities’ instead of ‘policies’ unless i’m mistaken :p

No mention of a society in which children can grow up free from sectarianism and bigotry and where they can be judged on merit and not on their background. FLUFFY NONSENSE!!!! They do know kids can’t vote right??

    That children’s manifesto in full…

“once upon a time there was a happy little turtle called Trimble, until a big bad monster called the electorate came and ate him all up. And the Unionist people lived happily ever after. The end.”
