Welcome to Slugger O'Toole!

Yesterday we drew in over 3,500 visitors. It put some strain on the server, so we and our excellent US based hosts had to work hard last night to keep Slugger on line! It’s worth noting that Slugger’s rating on Alexa for today is at 35,286, with an amazing 58.5 page views per user. We’re also now at 1533 of all registered blogs and classed as a Maurading Marsupial in the Blogosphere’s Ecosystem.

Who’d have believed Pat’s return would have drawn such a crowd.

  • ShayPaul

    Nice one Pat

  • cg

    As one would say

“The boys are back in town” 😉

  • Ringo

    it is either

a)Henry and the 3499 republicans who were ‘on the mousemat’ for a couple of weeks

b)proof that there are, as some suspect, hundreds of Pat McLarnon’s here

  • Mick Fealty

Nice one Henry (and Ringo)! Five pound prize in Slugger Tokens (formerly known as Northern Bank fifties) do youse?

  • cg

So it was Fealty who robbed the bank, I always wondered how you funded your activities 😉

  • Mick Fealty

I could not possibly comment on that. Just don’t look in the compost bin at the foot of the garden!

  • Pat Mc Larnon

As well as the very active and rock solid solidarity of other nationalist posters the great public have voted with the feet (or fingers).

An indication of why Slugger is such a magnificent site.

  • Richard Delevan

Congratulations, Mick. Your site (and I don’t mean to exclude Pete, Ambrose, and all the contributors) is not only vital, but actually helpful to the dialogue that we all hope will become the norm. No fear or favour, rules enforced without prejudice, and with malice toward none.

And as you know, a lot of MSM types rely on Slugger.

    Congratulations again.

  • Richard Delevan

And, of course, Pat. Whose return is good for everybody.

Enough lovebombing. Start tearing strips off each other now.

  • StrayToaster

While I also welcome back Pat (though possibly not for reasons you would think, or I would say, what with man and ball rules), I despised the protest (or so-called) of others staying away. This is not a public forum. It is one supplied by private individuals. It is a privilege to post, not a right. There is no freedom of speech rights. No human rights. You can post here because you are allowed to. Get over it.

  • Davros

The abstention was convenient :)Was it planned as an excuse for keeping certain heads down ? Surely not;)

  • Pat Mc Larnon

you are on record as complimenting those who took part in the ‘protest’ for their previous record in hanging in there during ‘difficult times.’ Is your old memory going?

  • Davros

LOL Pat – you haven’t lost any of that sharpness then 😉

  • cg

Don’t worry Pat, it wasn’t his memory just the Unionist coming out of him 😉
