Who let the Dog out…?

CONVICTED terrorism director, UFF thug, steroids fan and Sunday tabloid fodder Johnny Adair has been quietly released from prison. Once revered by loyalist paramilitaries, now humiliated, ‘Mad Dog’ has finally been brought to heel and is off to England to see his family – but will he ever be back? Let’s hope not.

“Hullu Koira” they call him here. He visited about 2 years back while on the run during a previous UDA tiff. Wonder will he come back to visit us, maybe we’ll head for a jar in Molly Malones and discuss the struggle “back home”.

“..but will he ever be back? Let’s hope not. ” If only for the sake of your life expectancy after that blog eh Gonzo ?

It was hardly a “quiet” release. It was announced in advance and carried on the front of today’s Guardian, along with a discription of what Adair’s wife (“Mad Bitch” apparently) and his son (almost inevitably “Mad Pup”) have been up to in Bolton.

Let’s be thankful he’s not looking for a place on the executive like other former terrorist leaders.

Let’s be thankful he’s not looking for a place on the executive like other former terrorist leaders.

He was, about three years ago!

Don’t you remember the Sunday Times and (IIRC) Sunday Life’s attempted rehabilitation of Adair’s public image?

All in the past now, thank god.

I’m no fan of the man, but is he any worse than many who still walk the streets of NI & ROI?

Had he not attempted to become number one dog in the kennel club he would still be very much the hero! Nutering is best, only costs a tenner, please no Northern Bank notes, don’t want to be accused of laundering!

is he any worse than many who still walk the streets of NI & ROI?

There may be some as bad but I doubt if there are many worse.
