Comment on Adams ordered McConville execution, says ex-IRA leader…
on 28 March 2010 at 9:31 pm
“Darkie was an acute alcholic who spent most of his life sponging drink down in, ‘The Laural Leaf’
Apart from his years as a senior IRA volunteer, the years in the cages, escape and going on the run and the years in the blocks Padraig.
The fact of the matter was that Darkie made the allegations, I don’t know the motivation behind it but to try to dismiss Darkie Hughes as “a chronic alcoholic” deminishes his massive contribution to the IRA’s campaign and is reminiscent of the treatment handed out to Header Nugent by some who never saw the inside of a cell as he was left alone to drift in the last years of his sad life.
I wonder did the senior Republicans of all shades who attended Darkie’s funeral consider him a “chronic alcoholic?

“It always fascinates me the great trust and store which some seem to give to claims by loyalist terrorists. Why should anyone believe what Bobby Morton or for that matter David Ervine or any of the other criminals say?”
- Or indeed Sean O’Callaghan?

The fact of the matter is that there are a number of people / organisations that need to answer questions regarding the handeling of Aine’s abuse not least of all Gerry Adams, [the then] RUC and Social Services.
In a wider context questions need to be asked of both the Social Services and cops regarding background checks on Liam Adams and his working with kids.
It seems that Gerry Adams has been caught out telling numerous porkies. This should be explained and I personally think that it has tainted SF and that he should go however that is for the Party / electorate to decide.

Well Reggie 1912 your’e a real charmer aren’t you? Bit rich of you to condemn people for supposedly finding the murder of innocents acceptable after your appraisal of ‘Mr’ Adair, [what is it with loyalists, kitsch formality and faux militarism? 'Mr' Asair UDA 'Officers' etc?], taking “the fight to the doors of the bold Mr Adams constituancy and had them living in total fear awiting the next knock on the door”
Yeah, ‘cos people like Philomena Hanna, Sean Monaghan and Aidan Wallace were all noted Republican activists weren’t they? Oh, one more thing, bext time you mention mumbo jumbo you’d best not mention The Bible in the same sentence.
A well written thought provoking thread Turgon.

“Whether it comes from abuse in their childhoods is neither here nor there”
Then why did you claim men of violence were motivated by abusive fathers?
“Hate arises from any number of sources”
What source does your hatred of SF emanate from?
