The SDLP were totally reliant on a split in Unionism and their own disillusioned voters, or disillusioned SF voters, coming out in force for them.
Only one of those happened.

There’s no reason at all to hold international games in Belfast if they aren’t going to hold them in Connacht or Munster as well.
After all there are four provinces under the IRFU.

It’s a little bit of a hot potato but I am sure Philosophy Football weren’t making a political statement.
Until such a time that a flag or symbol for All-Ireland is agreed these debates will rage on.
Would a plain green flag with a white shamrock on it be something worth considering?
