    That experiment did not disprove the existence of an aether. It is misunderstood. There is an aether and perhaps it has something to do with the notion that there is something called “dark matter” or “dark energy”.

    I read an article recently, possibly Harpers magazine, where a woman wrote that her father always said that us living people were the dregs of society, all the smart (?) and brave ones having been wiped out in the two world wars.

    When discussing the results of this poll or any political poll, we should remember Harold Wilson’s remark about a week being a long time in politics. I see that “Others” have a count of 22%; I’m assuming that mostly they are undecideds. Final day of election vote tally may depend largely on them, if they actually go out and vote.
