    InThe village of Renton in the Vale of Leven near Loch Lomond, population 3000

    Archie Thomson MBE, Chair of the Trust, sums up the ethos of the work across Renton:

    “We change people not just their environment. We don’t just build houses, we build community and develop local assets. Poor architecture, inappropriate houses and services destroy community. By working with local people and using local knowledge we are re-populating this village. Local people can feel proud to live here: we might not be as affluent as some but we have a cultural wealth that is more valuable.”

    New fund for language north;
    but maybe that process comes too incomprehensible to Mick Fealty, Fri 25 June 2010, 1 12:45 pm
    thanks to Con about this account on the new investment fund for the language (of the prophet by £ 8m year). But anxiety Con question: who owns the money in this fund? An entirely public, or private party? Perhaps According to what I heard, the Sinn Féin advocates mostly members of this Board. Perhaps the most Gaelic speakers are the exact program, but not sufficient. H the names I heard, recognized b'ainmneacha world of Irish and Sinn Fein party. If there was not an open process for their appointment, both are excellent, there will always questions about the direction this Fund. How will criteria for the investment decisions being made by this Board? Will it depend on what the Irish interest in a particular area – or Sinn Self interest? Perhaps Sinn Féin believes that the same two interest? Tags: new Investment Fund, organizations, Gaeilg
