Mind you, at some level, albeit a fairly low level, Mr McCrea seems to engage with Gaelic football. He refers to the “Ulster semi’s” as if he was used of watching football and I suppose by default he could be classified as a Donegal fan!

I wonder if the countries that make up the southern cone of South America or any other combination of the countries in the region could not come together and decide between themselves how to share the natural resources of the South Atlantic. This would of course involve telling Blighty to hop it.

I think people in Northern Ireland should understand that the southern Irish people will tolerate (albeit with a certain amount of discomfort) commemorations by the republican movement of their many failures. Their victories, such as they are, remain uncommemorated.
