RTE Regenertion specialist Miriam x gave reason to idiocy tonight when she ridiculed the irish minister for social housing and described the Residents of St Thereas’ Gardens,South Dublin, neighbour of St Micheals Mistake,Dolphins Barn,Marrowbone Lane, and many many more, too many too mention,as Refugees in their own Country.A biologist said that the levels of ‘shit’ in the clean water was 14,000 times more toxic than the legal EU levels.
There are problems indeed but it would be a disgrace if Europe denied succour to genuine refugees. For this the red poppies danced.

Comment on Poverty programme should dominate the next Assembly
on 30 April 2011 at 1:15 pm
Poverty Programme?-Why now?
Development of a robust and transparent system of ministerial and collective accountability to ensure the effective outcome of any social justice agenda can be realised.
The urgency of adopting such a collaborative and inclusive approach is evidenced by the growing problem of specific forms of poverty. For example, fuel poverty in Northern Ireland is amongst the highest in northern Europe and last year there were 1,000 deaths attributable to cold weather, in addition to over 5,000 individuals admitted to A&E suffering from cold-related illness. Shockingly, the situation this year is set to get worse as the recently announced 39.1% increase in domestic gas prices will force already vulnerable people into deeper poverty and potential ill-health. Such a scenario is neither acceptable nor inevitable and we therefore call on our political parties to engage in innovative thinking aimed at securing a more socially just future for all.
‘All the childern of the Nation weren’t cherished equally…..
Selling poetic poverty ….

Mick Fealty-In all fairness the mainstream media(with one or two exceptions started a witch-hunt in the aftermath of the recent killing.Gerry adams labeled ‘local historians as guilty parties.i’m interested in local history.i’m not a terrorist.
I’m not even a member of the local bank ffs.Sinn fein should have to apolagize for labelling people as ‘dissidents’.i’m a socialist.a democrat.i support the political process.i stood in the freezin’ cold on bridges in dublin in the 90′s calling for gerrys peace …. i’m actually so pissed off with this scare mongering i’m going to stand against sinn fein in the next local elections iin dublin.i’m not flogging ‘peace’ or ‘war’.
i’m concerned about the present sinn fein labeling of former political activists in dublin.it’s ok for me.i’m not afraid of their cynical bullying tactics.it’s my mother/friends i’d be concerned about.i asked them politely not to knock near my house at the recent election.4 of them knocked back…
I’ve been bullied by the garda since i was 7.i can’t afford a solicitor…..i can hardly put food on the fuckin’ table…

Comment on Catching up with Jim Gorman and Paul Little, IRSP council candidates in Belfast #lg11 #belw #beln

Is the IRSP an Irish Nationalist party? As I have said before, history tells us what you get when Nationalism and Socialism are combined!
I wonder hypothetically if these “socialist parties” were given a choice between a “Socialist British Isles” or a Capitalist United Ireland which would they prefer?
A Socialist British Isles?-Fantasy politics. Not that irish socialists should dismiss ‘british socialism……………..
Capitalist United Ireland-The reality yesterday, today and more than likely tommorow, whether it’s what the vast majority of irish people want is that ireland is partitioned.
Karl Marx-”One should distinguish between “Marxism” and “what Marx believed”; for example, shortly before he died in 1883, Marx wrote a letter to the French workers’ leader Jules Guesde, and to his own son-in-law Paul Lafargue, accusing them of “revolutionary phrase-mongering” and of lack of faith in the working class. After the French party split into a reformist and revolutionary party, some accused Guesde (leader of the latter) of taking orders from Marx; Marx remarked to Lafargue, “if that is Marxism, then I am not a Marxist”

sinn fein and the popular peoples front of the united left alliance could do worse than disagree over water rates and agree over who gets the nod in the ‘right’ direction for the presidency.it’s not the white house.it’s the house nearest to the zoo.
