   Were is Tom’s babes? The uup had 2 get women on the ticket now he seems to be ignoring them. Overend would know all about agriculture as she says herself “she is married to a mad pig farmer” and about planning while Dobson knows about everything. Is Tom taking his revenge on Dobson 4 criticing his “scum fein” remarks.

   Separatesix. I agree with u about the drop in the DUP vote but its not transferring to any other party. Millar would make a good MLA but the “keep it in the family” candidates will probably succeed. It is interesting I was canvass today by Ms Overend who was only promoting herself. It was not until I pushed her did she mention the council candidate Kelly(who ironicaly was with her). When I queried her on this her answer was that the councillors were not supporting her. So much for the UUP pulling together.

   Millar has little chance. McCrea will top the Unionist side with Overend 2nd. Agreed Overend was very poor on womens debate even to the point of having briefing notes on her knees but will still get in.There is a hard core of UUP voters who will vote for as she describes herself “a wife of a crazy pig farmer”.

   See in yesterdays edition of the BT that Mr Crowe bragged “that he had done similar favours in the past claiming they were made at both party and departmental level”. This could well be another embarrassment for a party already in disarray. Could this be another “Iris” moment or maybe two.

   See another Armstrong running for the UUP.Does anyone know if he is related to Sandra Armstrong(Overend)in Mid Ulster? It appears now that the UUP have selected candidates just because they are women and not on merit.

   It is interesting to see that the UUP have selected Sandra Overend to fight Mid Ulster. If I was cynical I would say this is to build a profile to take over her DAd’s assembley seat.It is ironic that the UUP complain about the Robinson,Dodds and McCrea family business but have kept quite on this one. Another point worth noting is will Sandra’s pay stop during the election campaign as she is paid to be her Daddy’s PA(money which comes from the Assembly)and will she have use of her Daddy’s farmyard office to fight the election(electoral commission already informed). Sandra will probably top the Unionist poll but I wonder if George Shields or Jackie Crawford had been selected would they do better.
