Comment on The Election Speculation Game: Where will the Traditional Unionist Voice be heard the loudest?

Great headline in the news letter today,
“Cyclist Cameron comes under fire”
evoked visions of him riding through the streets with the bullets bouncin off the kerbs…. lol
and no helmet on – tut tut….. ricochets David ricochets

Comment on McFarland leaves UUP

Since Trimble cowped its been one thing after another with the UUP
is anyone in control?
i mean in any other walk of life someone would have taken control of this situation
The Fermanagh and South Belfast issue is one glaringly obvious short term,breather/rescue plan for them and they treat the gift of a seat in Westminster with disdain – it isn’t washing well on the street that’s for sure.
It has to be down to ££££ as otherwise a blind man on a galloping horse with superglued eyelids and his hands tied behind his back – facing backwards on the saddle would have jumped at the opportunity of a free run in either FST or SB….
the saga continues….

Turgon – at what point do Sinn Fein and their electorate become acceptable?
In the interim period would you advocate direct rule?
If so what would be your prediction on the ‘health’ of the union in this intervening period?
How would the TUV ensure the link and unionist confidence, would remain strong or increase in strength using as an example recent periods of direct rule as a marker?
just gathering opinion….

Turgon you comfirm the view that no one does “snatching defeat from the jaws of victory” better than the prod.

Comment on Black arts of political PR best kept behind a veil…

It would only be manipulation if someone in the news letter was deliberately altering the outcome
the fact that someone highlights the fact that there is an on line poll is a good thing.

Comment on UUP’s Jo-Anne Dobson takes 64 per cent of the Lurgan vote…

Simpson has a fair operation going in Portadown and the surrounding areas – and a lot of it is his own effort – and even before he was elected MP, so there will be a firm personal vote in my opinion – probably the same opinion largely in NA with the Paisley’s if you listen to the vox pops occasionally on UTV etc
but we can only surmise after all…. time will tell
Slugger has plenty of people wishing other people down – that thank goodness is unrepresentative of reality.

Turgon i think what you mean to say is:
The TUV is the ‘person’ you think best articulates your opinions.
