Willie Frazer, Conor Murphy and fantasies

The Newsletter is reporting that Willie Frazer claims to have been the victim of an attempted kidnap in South Armagh; his own website also contains details of this episode, including the suggestion that this episode might have been in preparation for the murder of Mr. Frazer. Conor Murphy has described Mr. Frazer as “....a well-known fantastist.” Jim Allister seems less than convinced by this explanation.

  1. Just read your link from the Protestant Pravda. It reads like some sort of Boys own tale.
The sooner Willie [Walter Mitty] Frtazer gets the help he needs the better.

  2. I must agree Willie’s site is always a bit odd and this time is no exception. The claim that his car was surrounded and an attempt was made to remove him from it, is, however, important. The police seem to be taking the claim seriously. The bit about him being about to be murdered in Crossmaglen may be rather silly but the idea of him being abducted and then murdered does have a precedent does not it? In addition Conor Murphy’s instant reaction also has a precedent.

  3. Ithank the lord that willie is safe, and admire his courage in standing up to these thugs/scum in south armagh. As for conor murphy, i wouldnt believe a single word from his mouth, and it is interesting to see people dismiss it as “fantasy”, sadly for young paul quinn the fantasy world of south armagh was all too real. Willie has my 100% respect.

  4. If willie fraser is so believable why did the caera man not back up his story?

Funny old world, smells like a set up by wee willie for the “documentary”

Frankly I think Murphy nailed it in one

  5. How long more can Willie milk his victim status without bordering on the ridiculous. Oh wait, he’s just done it.

  6. Ahh Willie ‘they should never have in jail in the first place’ Frazer.

  8. After reading the first Newsletter report I was a little sceptical. However, this new article in the Newsletter makes more sense and is a lot more credible.

  9. ah willie you belong in hollywood! your talented imagination is going to waste on this side of the atlantic!

  10. Fantastic

Never mind yer aul titanic building, come up to Cross for an experience in fantasy land. meet wiley willie who arrives every couple of weeks for another hair raising escapade, “Jaysus, it’s the rale stuff, boys, near kidnapped near Cross! an’ a big bomb in Jonesboro!! jaysus, boys!!.”
Willie’s not on his own on the fantasy road as we have Minister Connor who is on a fantasy road to a United Ireland via Stormont driven by…, ah no, he doesn’t drive for him any more.
On this fantastical road you will see lots of little folk cleaning bad colours out of diesel, environmental work of course and all in the name of old Ireland, you will notice large deposits of lithuanian whiskey where once grew good poitin and there are large sheds with bin bags full of money alongside the cigarrettes waiting to be divided between the shankill and the falls.
Aye, willie is a fantatist but why wouldn’t he, are we all at it every beddy day we pretend to live in some kind of normal society. that applies especailly to sth armagh.

  11. excuse and apologies,
last line of my previous post should have read “aren’t we all it every bleddy day we pretend to live in some kind of normal society. That applies especially to sth armagh.

  12. well its a change from getting kidnapped by shape shifting aliens representing the 13th tribe of Israel(lost and found)fundamentalist branch of the rulers of the Planet Xenu.

  13. I hope Willie gets plenty of Financial support from both Governments to carry on this work and long may he prosper.

  14. Just been on weepin Willie’s site and even if he wasn’t an egomaniacal self publicist I’d still have trouble believing anything that he says. Anyone who constantly refers to themselves in the third person, a la Johnny Adair, is psychologically imbalanced.

“I want to make it absolutely clear I am not out to stir the pot on policing and justice”

    Freudian slip by Willie methinks

  15. Sinn Fein members machine-gunned to death law-abiding Protestants while they were at prayer. They have murdered members of the security forces. They have massacred Protestant workers earning an honest crust. (manual labour, not diesel smuggling). They have bombed our main cities for decades. They are conviced fraudsters, torturers and cold-blooded executioners. And you care to believe them over Willie Frazer who, let it be said, was not allowed have a peaceful commemoration in Dublin, the foreign Mecca of Bandit Country’s scum.

  17. after just watching that clip on his site what amazes me is that any sane person with an ounce on common sense can take this man at face value…

“inbreds” and “I`ll follow your lorries” he must be a real kick at the office xmas ball…

    Lost the plot…

  19. Is there any coorbarating evidence fromk the camera man in question.

Mr Fraser has a penchant for publicity and a reputation for a certain excentricity.

It is difficult to accept his story easily therefore.

  20. If you go looking for trouble you’ll always find it and if you don’t find it you can always invent it and if you do find a little you can always exaggerate it.

There’s no such thing as bad publicity.

I hope Willie gets the help he needs, till then I hope he keeps taking the tablets…

  22. a question arises as to how wille just happens to arrive in sth armagh , the republican part, when something is about to happen such as raids for laundered diesel around cross or a ‘bomb’ in jonesboro. would a wee mole in the psni be phoning willie??

Posted by dunreavynomore on Nov 29, 2008 @ 05:23 PM
  23. This alleged incident needs to be fully investigated.  The local MP should be urging all witnesses to come forward, that is an obligation of his position as MP and Stormont Minister.  If there is nothing to Frazier’s claims, then he is discredited.  If there is something to his claim, then the perpetrators should be pursued.

It merits investigation because Frazier’s claim is reasonable due to local unlawful activity of a similar nature.  Witnesses will be critical to the investigation and that’s where the local MP needs to step up to his responsibilities.

  24. I am so relieved that Willie Frazer is safe and well and that he has been able to foil a kidnapping attempt by overpowering twenty men all on his own (the photographer’s professional neutrality making him useless as an ally). A kidnapping would not have been good. Where on earth could anyone be found to pay a ransom to get him back?

Often in cases like these, where aliens are involved in the abduction, victims (well male victims at least) commonly complain that they were subjected to ‘anal probing’. Has Willie by any chance mentioned if any of this anal probing business was involved in his drama?

If so, I would recommend that he get in touch with Iris Robinson as soon as possible. I hear that she is very knowledgeable about this sort of thing.

  25. IRA Green Book says, “Execution, as earlier stated is not the only way of making this category of establishment enemy ineffective: we can variously expose them as liars, hypocrites, collaborators, make them subjects of ridicule etc.”

It would seem Conor Murphy is trying to make Frazer out to be a subject of ridicule.
