Unfit for purpose?
The Squinter column may or may not have been the spur but Gerry Adams has launched a strong attack on the delivery of the PSNI. He states:
“...the reality at this time is that the PSNI is failing to deliver; it is failing to deliver on call out times, on responding to information from the public, in its investigations of anti-social and organised crime.”
While the courts and probation services roles in all this should not be overlooked, have we arrived at the first cross-party, cross-community consensus since the foundation of Northern Ireland on the issue of policing? Namely everyone is agreed that it isn’t delivering.

Thanks be to Jesus and all the holy saints of Ireland and all the fairies around the tree in my grannies garden. I’m saved, hells too hot for me

Not very Christian John, calling someone a wanker. All that time chasing Greek lassies in melbourne learned me the swear words if nothing else. Twinnies joke was funny but wasn’t it? What sect are you John? Or are you the second coming, with Twinnie being the first from what you called him.
