Two of Tohill’s kidnappers re-arrested

The BBC report that two of the four individuals who jumped bail, after pleading guilty to abducting Bobby Tohill from Kellys Cellar`s Bar in Belfast on 20th February 2004, have been re-arrested and will appear in court tomorrow. Worth remembering that before they absconded two other charges, of false imprisonment and unlawful wounding, remained “on the books of the court, not to be proceeded with without leave of the court or the Court of Appeal” – at the request of the prosecution counsel. We’ll wait to see if that situation changes.. and the other two who had pleaded guilty are still on the run.. Adds According to one report they were re-arrested in Belfast Update The two, who were arrested on the A1 carriageway at Hillsborough, have been remanded in custody for sentencing on Feb 2
