  5. It’s richly deserved. As I said on the “Dreaming Armadillo” yesterday I didn’t think the Slugger team would go away empty-handed.

  6. Hah ! Bet you are secretly RAGING that you did’nt win one of the framed 1916 Proclamations which we donated to the Awards as ‘spot-prizes’ !

John , from this parish , represented our blog at the ceremony tonight in the Alexander Hotel - and he’s still out ! Must be a hell of a party on somewhere ...

Congrats to all the winners , to Damien and Rick , and special mention to the sponsors .

    Sharon .

  7. Congratulations to Slugger. Mick has laid the template that the rest of us try to aspire to and its only fitting that Slugger should be the first recepient of the award.

Does anybody have any other results yet?

  9. Well done to slugger.  You were sorely missed in the Merrion and Renards Naoise.  Guess blogging comes first.

  10. congratulations on a political award, particularly in one of the few places left on God’s earth, where there is virtually no meaningful politics, bar window dressing.
In fact there’s been so much stock-taking of late I’m suprised there’s any stock left.
    Just anuvva cynical sunday morning.
    Well done Slugger’s anyways.
