   John , from this parish , represented our blog at the ceremony tonight in the Alexander Hotel - and he’s still out ! Must be a hell of a party on somewhere ...

10. congratulations on a political award, particularly in one of the few places left on God’s earth, where there is virtually no meaningful politics, bar window dressing.
    In fact there’s been so much stock-taking of late I’m suprised there’s any stock left.
