Slab Murphy arrested….

Worth mention, but there are precious few details to go with this news yet, but Thomas ‘Slab’ Murphy has been arrested by the Gardai… He was briefly taken to hospital, but is now back in Dundalk Police Station…

  1. As a Republican lets just say I know! (And more to the point so do Sinn Fein)

Also wee Provo scumbags around Green deseil land are also missing since tuesday night.

Maybe the snipper will go down for 1 murder finally as well

  2. Rory, an awful lot of allegations without any proof. “As a Republican lets just say I know” I think you are overstating your information somewhat.

  3. wouldnt the guarda make a song and dance if they thought they could pin stuff on him for quinn.

and let him out on bail.
    ?

no doubt the provies did it though.

  4. Ciaran

The Garda are just going through the motions as the PSNI did with every thing the Provos have done since 2003

Can someone in South Armagh deny it - I doubt not!

THE PROVOs did it - Just watching the the cover up onfold!

  5. i am little cofused rory,

are the guards going to pin the quinn murder on him. or they just sweep the whole thing under the carpet

    and charge nobody for it

  6. The conspiracy is on both sides of the border!

The Peace process is the No:1 agenda - regardless of who the Provos kill!

Just going through the motions - Haven’t the Garda always done that since 1998.

  7. I hope Slugger takes down Rory’s above post on arrests if it is shown to be untrue.

I’m no fan of the Provisional Movement but there’s no need to spread disinformation. Should be a straight red if it’s a lie regardless of the fact you might not face legal sanction.

If false it would also be a major factor in judging the poster’s future ‘credibility’.

Angry - fine. Spoofing - not so.

  8. Spoof? NO!

    Angry? No!

The Provos have murdered this kid and the Slabs mob are up to their armpits in it!

After all everything that happens is only allowed to do so with his blessin!

Was the Peace process not at a stage where no one could hide?

If I am spoofing why are the Provo sympathy mob that normally bombard this thread not jumping to defend the Chief of Staff?

    The silence is deadly!

  9. Rory,

It’s simple, you said Murphy had been arrested and questioned in relation to the Quinn murder.

That’s either true or a lie.

    Where’s your evidence?

The Provisionals can speak for themselves. I’m asking for delineation between creative fiction and fact.

  10. Frank Sinistra

I beg the Provo’s to deny it and I doubt my source in Jonesborough is Wrong given his close relationship with the South Armagh Brigade past and present!

Anonymous sources is it? You should get a job with the Sindo.

I’ll leave you to your conspiracy theories. Pete tells us tinfoil hats won’t help.

    No anonymous sources!

I do not tout people - I would rathe leave that to our former comrades in the Provo’s

The man went to jail for these tramps in the past and is a proper republican with principles

  13. Delighted with these legal proceedings. Cannot help but think of poor Tom Olivers family at a time like this.
Congratulations to all at the Criminal Assets Bureau for devoting so much time to dealing with a very complex case of criminality and corruption. Hope that justice will prevail in the end.

  15. it is hard to know if everything that has been writter about “Slab Murphy” is true but listening to shinners talking about him during the last few days, it is clear that his former comrades are preparing to disown him.Republican career politicans would like to pretend that they never heard of Mr. Murphy.

  16. LOL if ever there was a reason for the SF to claim “slab” it is now! isnt it every republicans duty to deny solace and sucor(and taxes) to its oppresor

  17. no, it would appear that every republican’s duty is to turn up at edentubber today to honour 5 ira guys who blew themselves up in the 50s,

except for the 4 psf councillors who are going to the poppyday/ enniskillen bomb memorial in enniskillen today.

now to which am i to go and commemorate, gerry???

the ira victims of an ira bomb??
the protestant victims of an ira bomb??

    i am confused
