For those who have ever wondered where those meteors come from, the link to Original video is worth watching.
And, No, I am not a suck-up.Posted by on Aug 13, 2007 @ 12:34 AMjoeC
Education, education, education.. ;o)
Unfortunately clear skies were noticeable by their absence last night.. but the shower will continue in the nights ahead, albeit with an ever-lower frequency.
Posted by on Aug 13, 2007 @ 03:00 PMWe had quite a good display. Cloudless sky and reasonably warm.
We sat out on lawnchairs, drinks in hand and watched for an hour or so.
I got up at 4:00 am again when the display was supposed to be at its maximum but wasn’t really any different from 1:00 am.
Cheers.Posted by on Aug 13, 2007 @ 03:31 PMGlad to hear someone got a good view, joeC.. Sadly, we’ve had another cloudy night here..
Posted by on Aug 13, 2007 @ 10:55 PMI sat outside last night and saw bugger all. Typical, one rule for the Northern Hemisphere, another for the south....
