Labour hopes to connect online…

Damien Mulley picks up the story that Irish Labour has engaged the services of an old Howard Dean crony, Zack Exley. Labour 2.0 in the offing? It may not be as simple as that!

  1. Zack’s a good guy, but as you say, parties struggle to do all this in a few months especially when the leaders just don’t get it. I suspect that was his main experience with the British Labour Party anyway.

  2. Interesting to read Labour Youth are on bebo, the site for kiddies. Here iso ne of their pages:

A fine catch there for Mna na h-Eireann. The average age of Labout TDs is 59. Is this a case of Labour Youth patronizing the kids of bebo the same way their TDs patronize them?

  3. “Is this a case of Labour Youth patronizing the kids of bebo the same way their TDs patronize them?”

    What does this even mean?

Yes, there are Labour Youth people on Bebo.
Yes, Labour TDs are pretty old.

What has one to do with the other? Should Labour stay away from Bebo because of the age profile of the public representatives? Or is it, perhaps, just a weak, poorly-thought-through swipe?

Put a bit more effort in next time.
