NI Tory on NI Labour…

Top of the NI Conservative’s blog is non other than our own Bob Wilson, who’s rubbing his hands at the prospect that of UK Labour organising in Northern Ireland at last.

  1. Nice to see Labour getting their NI act into gear a mere 20 years or so after the Tories. It’s all academic of course. The Tories have experienced spectacularly poor electoral performances and with New Labour going down the plug hole, it’s highly unlikely to do any better, but it’s nice to have the choice.

  2. If only unionists vote for the mainland parties (Labour, Conservative) along with our homegrown variety (DUP, UUP etc) then it will split the vote to such an extent that nationalists may have an open day.

  3. The SDLP takes the Labour whip and is affiliated with the SI like most other Labour parties.
