Leonardo’s laboratory of the mind
It was so popular previously *ahem* a brief addendum on Leonardo Da Vinci at the V&A. The Guardian has collated their articles into a fascinating audio-visual tour with Jonathan Jones and the curator, Professor Martin Kemp - the audio part is available separately[8Mb mp3 file]. Interesting to note that Prof Kemp mentions Leonardo’s frustration with his anatomical drawings - in part due to the limted (printing) technology of the time, but also because his ambitious attempt was ultimately abandoned, leaving a near contemporary, Andreas Vesalius, to publish a more succesful anatomical atlas.
