Just in case you thought papers were dead…

Despite the occasional tensions between the online world of blogs and offline news production, Slugger central has always retained a healthy appetite for print newspapers and magazines. The Belfast Telegraph yesterday featured a series of senior industry insiders on the future of the news market. And on Sunday Peter Preston offered the FT as an example of trimming for a specialist market. In the end, it seems, well written news stories sell newspapers.
