Guido and the guys go after the money…

Up until now, only a few big beasts like epolitix have been able to make money out of politics online. But, it seems, that is about to change. Media Guardian notes that Guido and few of the top UK pol bloggers have gone out on their own to pick up ad revenues previously corralled amongst a worthy few. This kind of unbundling of what have been effectively discrete advertising loops can only quicken the day that blogs begin to take up a sustainable position within the online marketplace.

  1. No surprise that the dead tree media took this long to pick up on this…that said if successful this has real implications for the rest of us and British blogging in general…
