Five minuter on Channel Four…

On Channel4 tomorrow evening at 7.55pm - Jonathan Olley, a photographer, records the disappearance of the fortified RUC station in Crossmaglen, returning to the scene of an earlier photoshoot to capture the changes. It’s part of the Channel’s Picture This project (which some of our Flickr bods should have a closer look at). Thanks to Adam for the heads up!

  1. Thanks, Mick. I shall try to catch this.

Some might also be interested to catch The Friday Play on BBC Radio 4 (see link) which feature Richard Norton Taylor’s dramatisation of edited (but unchanged) excerpts direct from the transcripts of the Saville Inquiry.

I can’t help but wonder if whatever “spin” the editing and dramatisation contrives will be intended as a tester for the reception of the finally published report, among the chattering classes at least.

  2. It’s the one that was developed with the Tricycle in London. A definite date for the hard core!

  3. While we’re on the subject of full-on plays, last night saw Enniskillen’s own Adie Dunbar as Brendan Behan in ‘Brendan at the Chelsea’ at the Riverside, Hammersmith, London. Awesome performance, not to be missed (on til 3rd Feb). Brid Brennan plays Beatrice (the Missus).
