DUP taking a lesson from Dromore?

Yesterday Suzanne Breen was predicting big changes and they seem to have started to come to fruition quickly.  It would appear the DUP is taking the Dromore result seriously.

  1. From ALNI Wesbite:

“PA (temp): Stephen Herron (keeper of David’s diary)”

Hope your not using tax-payer funded time on here running other people down? Are you related to Ming the Merciless?

  2. #Temper, temper! I have no problem in comprehending anything - least of all your holier-than-thou approach.

4 out of 7 APNI MLAs employing family members.

1 MLA admits to enquiring he could pay rent to himself.

People in glass houses and all that Pounder. LOL!

Well atleast you finally admitted that Trevor didn’t actually do any wrong, unlike the subject of this thread.  As for a holier than thou approach, maybe that just your reading of it, project an inferiority complex much?

  3. Dewi,

thanks for that - good site.

Did you see Kaydiff come unstuck ? I would put Luke Fitzgerald into Irish team in a straight swap for Murphy. If we can’t thrash the porridge eaters we may as well give up and Fitzgerald would surely add to our points total - which still couild decide the championship. We could then stick Horgan back in for your boyz where there will be a bigger need for defence.

So they don’t have lunch and coffee breaks where you work?  More to the point who are you anyway?  For all my failings I’ve admited who I am and everything I’ve claimed to be is verifiable, I’m not some random troll with a made up name and a faked email account here just to stir the pot.

  6. Dear dear, of all people running around wanting to pay rent to himself, T Lunn is already well established financially, well beyond the need to inquire into that little trickle of cash.

However, if he actually had to pay rent out to someone then all well and good, that means that you have an office that requires staffing etc, a real need for it.

A stupid move to make given the current direction of public opinion which must call into question the principle motive of inquiring into it in the first place. To benefit whom exactly?

  7. Dewi, have to niggle with you about ‘bake’ which is rustic pronunciation of ‘beak’ which is standard English meaning ‘front of face’ Do not carried away with sites like that.

  8. I wonder did any of you read the following newspaper article?
    ____________

    Junior Minister culled over brown-tongue

A Junior Minister & MLA is to be culled on a County Antrim holiday resort following confirmation of the brown-tongue disease.
Today, Agriculture Minister Michelle Gildernew said that an MLA imported from the Lisburn area, who had contracted the disease had been culled.

A further 23 MLAs and 9 MPs will now be slaughtered following further tests.

Ms Gildernew said the area would remain under restriction.

“This result does not mean that the disease is circulating here, and at present the north retains its brown-tongue free disease status,” the minister said.

  10. I see Seymour Sweeney has put out a statement regretting Junior’s departure! Well, he would, wouldn’t he?

  11. Yes, greens can laugh at themselves....and are under no illustions about their influence on this side of the border (for now)

Anyone following the DUP’s attitude to climate change, renewable energy and building regulations - of course - would have caught the reference to ‘green power’.

    Try a little irony....

    Take it for granted even.

  12. William, I wasted quite a bit of time examining your two posts to check if they were identical.

  15. William @ 8.17 and William @ 8.21 and time spent critically examining posts is never wasted. Dewi, how can a Welshman be expert in the hamely tongue? I’m stunned at your grasp of the Queen’s English hee hee.

  16. “It would appear the DUP is taking the Dromore result seriously.”

f-d, the horse had gone long before the Dromore Derby.

What sort of outfit is DUP Inc? Does it not advise its public representatives who have a flutter in the property market about some of the basic aspects of company law?

I understand Peter Robinson once worked as an estate agent and he currently has a shareholding in Union Arch Properties registered in Kesh, Co Fermanagh, so he should be able to give practical advice to his colleagues.

Let’s look briefly at Sarcon (No 250) Limited. According to documents at Companies Registry the sole current director is Seymour Sweeney and Sarcon Compliance Limited is the Group Secretary. [Sarcon is an anagram of Carson (McDowell)]

According to CR a change of directors must be registered within 14 working days and CR has up to 5 working days to process the documents. CR is undergoing change, staff have left so there is currently a bit of a backlog so the 5 might well be extended by a few days.

SCL is a regular customer of CR so, if James Currie, Junior’s father-in-law, has been a director for months why didn’t SCL do the paper work? If the SCL paperwork is current ....

Also, why didn’t Seymour Sweeney (or his legal eagles) ensure that his name was removed from the position of sole director of Sarcon (No 250) Limited if he’s no longer in that position? Presumably Sweeney/Seaport pays CMcD a hefty fee to keep them on the straight and narrow.

Carson McDowell: “We recognise that by getting to know our clients better we are much more in tune with their individual needs. That’s why our partners like to keep a personal involvement in all transactions providing an exclusive ‘tailor made’ service”

    Who’d buy a suit ....?

  17. Just to wind up the OOlster Scots wans, ‘bake’ = beak. Gaelic for beak/mouth = ‘gob’, as in ‘shut yer gob.’ So maybe, just maybe, your precious US word is derived from a much older language - Irish.

  18. Gaelic gab: a tattling mouth; from Scottish gab (do.), Middle English gabben, to chatter, mock, Norse gabb, mockery, Old Fris gabbia, accuse [source MacBain

  20. I’m from north Antrim and I recognise ‘shut yer gab’. I don’t see any etymological link between ‘bake’ and ‘gob’.

  21. Punder

Pseudonyms and nom-de plums are permitted on Slugger and when last I checked I’m under no obligation to reveal my identity to you. It is generally accepted that when people veer off during discussions to demand those they are having discussions with reveal their identity that they have run out of argument.

Any-hoo, spit the dummy all you like, but don’t get on your high-horse and accuse every individual who happens to be a member of a political party of being corrupt, least of all when you yourself belong to a party where more than 50% of its assembly members employ family relatives and where one of your MLAs admitted on television that he enquired from his party colleagues and the Finance Office at Stormont (according to you) if he could pay rent to himself - when he himself is known not to be short of a few quid.

What would have happened if he had been told by APNI or the Finance Office that it would have been acceptable to pay rent to himself?

Think on these things before you make sweeping statements accussing others…

  23. So the Greens do bad in Dromore.

David Vance laughs at the Greens.

But the AntiChrist wonders about the voters of Dromore.

And the Protestants’ doomed yearnings for yet another Messiah.

    His name is .........Allister!!!

    Jokers.
