Did the British kill Donaldson?
Danny Morrison blogs on the Guardian, and wonders why few early speculations gave serious credence to the possibility of British involvement in the killing of Donaldson. Given the ambiguity surrounding his death it allows for any of a number of possibilities. Although it pays to be sceptical about all or any conspiracy theories, nothing at this stage should be ruled in, or out. That’s not to say with the propensity of all sides in this conflict to bury the truth, sometimes literally, as deeply and as impenetrably as possible.
Note: thread temporarily closed, until I can cut through to the substance.

Rollo, I can assure you that BB, while a bit shy about such personal dimensions, has what it takes.

I don’t know how many times I have to say this, and I’m sure it won’t make any difference as I think most people are now aware that you are mentally unbalanced, but I AM NOT “MARTIN INGRAM” NOR HAVE I EVER POSTED UNDER THAT NAME!!!!
Now, go back to telling us all how you were poisoned in the Suprana, how “Steak Knife” is not Scap, who killed the Norwegian, etc. Then go back to your padded cell!

Shotguns and knives were found in the cars. At least one republican, in the Dundalk area had been shot dead with a shotgun in the preceeding months. The SAS soldiers were held for a couple of days before being sent back sans weapons. Shotguns (automatic or pumpaction ?)were used in the Donaldson’s murder. Am I wrong in thinking that some RUC groups were also trained to use shotguns?”
Just because the RUC and SAS were trained to use shotguns, it doesnt mean that they done it. For crying out loud, every farmer from Donegal to Belfast has a shot gun, does that make them suspects. What im sayin is that ure suspicions of the killer/s is completely narrow minded. We cannot base the murder on the weapons used. More solid evidence is needed, and going by ure so called evidence, ure just lookin for an excuse to blame the British Forces

By George, I think he’s finally got it!! Now, Young Unionist, if youcomprehend that this particularly process operates in *both* directions, we might just have a breakthrough on our hands!!
