“…the extraordinary end to an extraordinary career in making war, then helping craft an uneasy peace.”

Useful from Quintin Oliver, who is well placed to know Martin is gone and not coming back

… that post will not see Martin McGuinness ascend Disraeli’s greasy pole – his doctors have read him the riot act: ‘continue as before and you’ll not survive – retire now and enjoy some more time at home’; the extraordinary end to an extraordinary career in making war, then helping craft an uneasy peace.

Everybody who disagrees with you is either a troll or a shinner.
But you do love to make statements aand then not back them up when asked .
Aadd that to your Pavlovian response everytime you see someone critising any unionist and the fact that you dont seem to actally read any of the posts (your certainly dont seem to ynderstand them) you respond to, makes you that stereotypical unionist that you accuse ND of pretending to be.

  • grumpy oul man

My god a unionist admits to learning something and he suddenly becomes a republician troll.
How veryy unionist LAD would be proud of you they built a whole website round that attitude.
Keep up the good work and remember you know it all nothing to learn eh.

  • North Down

Very good, keep up the good posts, as a unionist u give a lot of good answers back,

  • Jollyraj

    Blatant troll.

  • Jollyraj

    Declan rule applies here.

  • Jollyraj

I think you’re kind of proving me right, North Down.

  • grumpy oul man

And you have even got a rule to prevent you dealing with hard questions. Your right North down is not a unionist like you, his grammer may not be great but at least he has a willingness to learn

  • Jollyraj

“Your right North down is not a unionist”

    Yes, we know that.

He has a willingness to learn? what would you say he has learned?

  • North Down

You the biggest troll ive see your post, trying to wind up the other side, as a unionst I would not vote for a united Ireland if I was better off, you can’t understand that post , slow, get a girl

  • North Down

Still can’t spell, he also thinks you’re out of order

  • North Down

Still waiting for you in North down

  • Jollyraj

*The rule is to prevent a post being dragged into meaninglessness where a poster willfully misrepresents/lies about what another poster has said and then tries to bury what was actually written by sheer volume.

It’s technique with which you seem very familiar.

Often includes the phrases ‘show me where I’ve said’ (after a long time-sucking exchange) and, ever more frequently, ‘Pavlovian response’.

  • Jollyraj

    “As a unionist” eh?

    Yeah…..

  • North Down

If I was as thick as you I guess republican,

  • grumpy oul man

I see so not pnly do you use it to avoid the hard questions you justify it with waffle.
I think in future we shall call such a responce a jolly.
    Sounds about right.

  • grumpy oul man

Well i think he figured you out.

  • Jollyraj

    What do you mean?

  • Jollyraj

Which hard questions are you referring to?

  • Jollyraj

    Eh?

  • Jollyraj

    Get a girl?

  • grumpy oul man

Your asked them all the time, especially when you do your Pavlovian thing,
Foe example when AG compared a Shinner to Willy Fraser and you knee jerked and got all righteous claiming AG was blaming willy ( as usual you did not understand what was written in front of you) and claimed that will had never done anything so stupid, when myself and others pointed out some of the incredibly stupid things willy had done,we asked you to correct your claim in light of the facts and you waffled.
Now if i didn’t have a life i could go through your history and produce many Jolly’s but we all know they are there.
Do you remember when you got hot under the collar about a post reporting that two IRA men where being deported to Germany and was outraged that Nationalists were not on about it, several people pointed out to you that Nationalists didn’t have a problem with this (again not understanding the written word) now that was classic Jolly.
try reading things before the knee comes up and hits you in the face.
Oh and by the way i don’t know if Declin has ever won a debate on slugger but i do know you haven’t.

  • grumpy oul man

    A bit slow he said!

  • North Down

Read the posts, before u should work out why I sent that , you can spell, but your slow

  • North Down

I can’t be bothered posting you anymore, you win am a troll

AntrimGael: Do you consider the shooting of unarmed people by the RUC/UDR/British Army as murder?
In some cases it certainly was – for instance I regard several of the Bloody Sunday killings as murder and many of the rest as manslaughter.

05OCT68: Events the night before Kingsmill are always conveniently forgotten by Unionists.
Would you prefer it if Unionists were queueing up to helpfully put everything in context?
All this stuff is called tit-for-tat murder. For you, the point must be that tit-for-tat isn’t a justification. For AntrimGael, the point is it’s still murder.

  • 05OCT68

Of course it was very likely tit for tat, two for one would be more like it & unjustified. My point is it appears to me that Unionists view IRA murder as singular acts of bigotry, no context, whilst Loyalist/Security force murder is very nearly always contextualised. Your comment on Bloody Sunday is telling, in your view only several murders committed the rest manslaughter. Contextualising IRA murder does not justify it. Have you have evidence that MMG was involved in Claudy or your mucker Roger evidence he blew up Arlene’s Da?
