Down south – They want an election too!

Tue 20 April 2010, 2:03pm

Heyday – 24th of April call for a general election by making noise.

Update: Vote for Cahal’s video on Reddit & Digg

Heyday

The project was organised by Cathal Furey, someone with experience of taking on the ruling classes having previously headbutted Prince William (accidentally while playing water polo!). A family fun protest is planned for 24th of April in Merrion Square, there’ll be a festival or family fun atmosphere on the day. No loud-hailers, no speeches, no placards and banners, no marches. With bands and street entertainers to perform from 10am until just before midday, and a main stage and maybe some smaller stages on each corner of Merrion Square, Dublin and other venues throughout the country. At least that appears to the plan. No matter, these guys will be there! http://www.facebook.com/generalelection

Of course the south want an election. Its alright for those in the north with bottomless pockets. The poverty stricken neighbours are listening everyday to those responsible for bankrupting us telling us they are doing everything right!

The people want an election but I wonder if the opposition do. There are no nice choices for the next two years so why not let Fianna Fail take the pain for clearing up their own mess.
