In the Northern Ireland Assembly yesterday the Environment Minister, the DUP’s Sammy Wilson, gave away a not-very-well-kept secret in his reply to a question from the Alliance Party’s Anna Lo – you can watch that exchange below the fold. In the Stormont Live studio Mark Devenport identified the latest “mini-standoff” to develop.. to add to the others.. Oh, and when Sammy Wilson says “the party opposite”, what he really means is his party’s ostensible partners in the semi-detached polit-bureau..
