Ronnie Drew, late of the Dubliners, and with a unmistakable voice has died in St. Vincents Hospital after a long illness. RTE have a bunch of links to interviews and retrospectives.

Looks like our minds worked in tandem….
Ronnie was a true great; I never tired of hearing his voice. Such a unique delivery, made for traditional music (Seven Drunken Nights, Mountain Dew and Dublin in the Rare Oul’ Times rank amongst my personal favourites.)
