The Newsletter seem to be the first of the local print media to do a political blog. O’Neill highlights that it didn’t get off to the best of starts!
For those of you who, like me, use a feed reader rather than visit the site, the Newsletter page doesn’t seem to readily support one, but Google Reader picks up the feed from the WordPress site.

Professional journalist, having been forced against his will by desperate editor to get into this “blogging thing” thinks he can get away with running off a post in thirty seconds that no one will read anyway and proceeds to repeat a heresy without deciding to get confirmation from the logical second source and then…having no other choice really, apologises…
Nah, that still makes him fair game in my book, especially having first set himself up as being on “The Inside Track”.
I wonder if they delete “negative” comments.

I see that. It wasn’t there yesterday!
They’re gonna end up with mixed statistics if they’re relying on people picking up that FeedBurner feed in their sidebar. Their template header still directly points to the actual feed, which is what will pop up in the location bar of most browsers and what will be used when plug their weblog address into feed readers. (Although I understand this is what you end up with if you follow FeedBurner’s instructions.)
