Gordon Brown and the Smith institute

Fri 18 July 2008, 4:05pm

As if to prove that there are two sides to every story, the BBC and Guido have taken completely different conclusions from the Charity Commission’s report into the Smith Institute. I have to say though, I love the phrase “positively Nixonian”.

Whoever did what I find it interesting that, in an investigation into the activities of the Smith institute

1 the PM refsued to co-operate with the Charity commission or answer any questions

2 they chose not to seek to compel him

    That about says it all.

Its been rumoured that Oliver Stone has offered Anthony Hopkins the lead role in a forthcoming Bio-Epic, ‘Brown: The Curse of Jonah’

    Mick

I misread the report and my earlier post is incorrect. THE PM refused to comment on the report (as he was entitled to) not to answer questions.

    Suggest you remove it.
