But here are the Chess boxing basics. Two blokes climb into a ring, in the middle of which there is a chessboard. They then engage brain for four minutes, Kasparov style, before the table is whisked away, and they start hitting each other, Ali style, for three minutes. They then head back to the chess board, alternating for 11 rounds. Victory is by points, knockout or checkmate.
