Before people start running around accusing Slugger of being British or Irish and being a dirty rotten sell out, can I just point out that the magnificent Arseblog, is both very British (number 33) and hugely Irish (undisputed number one).

Congrats to Sir Mick!! The Brits only claim anything Irish if it’s successful. I’m old enough to remember Liam Brady scoring a brilliant long distance goal for Arsenal against Spurs after which John Motson asked “Who said British players couldn’t bend the ball?”. Doubt if they’ll be claiming poor Stan!!
