Hotel alert as Sir Hugh cancels
According to a very short BBC report, Army bomb disposal experts are examing suspicious devices at an ongoing security alert at the Tower Hotel in Londonderry were Chief Constable Hugh Orde had been due to attend an event yesterday today – the report claims that he had cancelled the engagement before the two suspicious objects were discovered. Adds Make that three devices.. and according to this report the organisers of the Gas Yard Feile cancelled the event. The devices have been declared an elaborate hoax.
