United Irelander is a polemicist. He’s not afraid to put his opinions out in the open and debate them with those who would not agree with him. He has published a lot of things with which I would not agree, but I still think that he is a first class blogger. He has tackled several difficult issues, and has also managed to get interviews out of many well-known political figures.
Fair play to him for getting the link from Slate, I say.

I love the way NI fans wind him up – his obsession with the Northern Ireland team and it’s supporters tells it’s own story.
Strange – for a so called “United Irelander” – that he wants to “wind up” the very people he claims he wishes to be “united” with.
Not the best of tactics, but I’m not complaining.
