The Electoral Commission has cleared the UUP of wrongdoing over its failure to disclose some party funds.

There’s no clarity, however, on the monies collected by the UUP in 2004 when Ronald Lauder organised a major fund raiser for them in an exclusive Manhattan restuarant. Over £100k collected.
To change the subject entirely, I wonder how DCI Yates over at Scotland Yard is getting on with his cash for peerages inquiry?
