I mean, had they been catholic churches we wouldn’t have heard a peep from you.

ANY attack on a place of worship is despicable IMHO.

    VOT

    That should go without saying.
BTW, why didn’t you include it in your first comment, was it an afterthought?

“I mean, had they been catholic churches we wouldn’t have heard a peep from you.”

Well, were there any catholic churches attacked at the weekend?

And if you’re worried about “selectiveness” on here, does it not bother you that Chris Donnelly hasn’t already covered these two particuliar attacks?
Or are you employing selectiveness in condemning other people’s selectiveness;)

What absolute drivel! Have you been living the life of a troll in a cave the past 35 years? When Roman Catholic Churches are attacked in, might I add, despicable acts of wanton vandalism, the media spotlight is shone brightly on the nearest Protestant community that the “b1gots” came from, but when similar hate crimes are carried out against Protestant places of worship, there is little or no coverage and no inquest asking “Why do some 21st Century Roman Catholics still feel compelled to destroy Protestant Churches?”.
I only found out about these attacks on a Presbyterian and Free Presbyterian Church on Teletext – it was not reported on either UTV Live or BBC Newsline, unless of course the 30-second slot when I was in the kitchen making coffee! If it had of been the chapel at Harryville or Bushmills we’d have heard an outcry from nationalist/republican representatives…

    Neverending Mopery….

I don’t make a habit of posting a thread on any and every sectarian attack that occurs in this society. Those that I do post about are generally because I want to ask readers about issues in the area affected contributing to tensions.

This particular incident once again confirms the pattern of sectarian attacks in the North Antrim/ east Derry area that I have highlighted before on threads, attacks which have seen churches, memorials and orange halls attacked.

All equally repugnant in my mind.
