All about the awards
Unfortunately, Mick was unavailable on the night.. as was myself.. but, although Gonzo may not remember it *ahem*, thanks to Joe Drumgoole his acceptance speech, on Slugger’s behalf, was captured for posterity at the Irish Blog Awards.. along with a few others’.. it’s worth noting that it is “A rough cut video of the awards.”.. plenty of photos too.. and, as Red Mum notes.. it’s a favourite tag!. Looks [and sounds - Ed] like it was a fun evening for all concerned. Well done Damien.. take a bow!

It really must have been a fun night, redmum… unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it along to the event itself.. Not quite recovered fully I’d say!

That’s Belfast Gonzo??? I always pictured him with a derby hat with the obligatory crooked ‘Journalist’ tag sticking out of it.
